Groben, Owner
The mastermind behind Jasper Winery, Jean is an active promoter of the Midwestern wine industry and serves on numerous boards and legislative committees. Jean coordinates the winery and vineyard activities and is responsible for marketing and events as well as offering wine tastings and wine education classes around the state. She orchestrates cooking classes at the Tasting Room and has attended courses on food and wine pairings in California.

Paul Groben, Owner
In addition to his day job, Paul acts as the interim winemaker and vineyard manager for Jasper Winery. Paul oversees the renovating and maintenance of the winery building as well as the manual vineyard labor. He strongly supports grape growing as a value-added Midwestern agricultural product and works with grape growers around the state to encourage this industry. Drawing from knowledge gained in winemaking courses, he assists in winemaking duties and helps to ensure the balance of Jasper wines.

Mason Groben, Winemaker
Mason holds degrees in viticulture and enology (the science of grape growing and the science of winemaking) from the University of California-Davis. In addition to Jasper Winery, Mason has experience working at wineries around the world, including in California, New York State, New Zealand, and Australia. Working with different winemakers and grape varietals in several regions of the world has helped Mason to cultivate the innovative techniques he uses to blend Jasper’s unique and well-balanced wines.
