July 11- Funk Trek
Funk Trek is a 6-piece band from Omaha, NE. They describe their sound as a blend of funk, jazz, hip-hop, rock, and progressive. Dynamic and danceable, their music will take you on a journey, hence the “Trek” in Funk Trek. Instruments include guitar, drums, bass, trumpets, and sax. Their most recent album, Plasticity, was released in 2019. We’re so excited to have these guys over from Omaha!

Mind@Large was formed in 2022 by Iowa City native Ryan Jeter, who was a founding member of Iowa-born band Euforquestra. Expect to hear a unique combination of funk, soul, New Orleans jazz, reggae, and dub. The band is a collective of some of central Iowa’s finest musicians, and their debut EP release, “Off the Rails,” was out in the summer of 2023. These guys are going to be fun!
