Mason Groben (Winemaker)- Mason is responsible for wine production, as well as promotional activity for the winery. He has a degree in Viticulture and Enology (grape growing and wine science) from the University of California, Davis. He has work experience at wineries in Sonoma, New York, New Zealand and Australia, and 10 years of involvement in the craft beer industry. Mason is committed to using his diverse experiences to create unique and innovative wine products.
Sydney Tallman (Events Director)- Sydney coordinates all weddings and events at the winery. She has a degree in Event Management from Iowa State University, event management experience at Marriott, and has done bridal work in New York. She can be found giving tours of the venue and setting up for our events!
Brian Congdon (Sales Rep)- Brian handles sales and delivery of Jasper Winery products to retail and restaurant accounts that carry our wine. He is also a talented musician, and performs often at the winery and at many other venues around the state.
Rose Hanna- (Assistant Wine & Cider Maker)- Rose assists with wine and cider production. She has a degree in Food Science from Iowa State University and has spent the last 5+ years in the beverage industry. When she’s not working behind the scenes, you can find her behind the bar giving guests samples and describing her favorite wines.
Penny (Winery Pup)- Penny often "works" on Fridays, and enjoys greeting guests. At the winery, her favorite things are cheese and belly scratches.
